New tablet for special forces protection
Samsung Electronics America has introduced the new Galaxy Tab Active5 Tactical Edition, specially designed for military operations. In collaboration with the U.S. Department of Defense, the manufacturer has implemented unique features for military security and communication, such as Stealth Mode and Covert Lock, which block radio signals.
'This is our most powerful tactical solution, designed to enhance the situational awareness of military personnel,' said Tyler Gibson, head of B2B at Samsung Electronics America.
The tablet has a high level of protection - it can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.5 meters, has an IP68 protection rating, and comes with a special S-Pen stylus. Reliable data protection is ensured by the Samsung Knox security system, which allows storing classified information up to the level of 'top secret.'
