SBU detained an FSB agent who threatened Ukraine's military infrastructure.
The Security Service of Ukraine successfully detained a Russian agent who attempted to organize missile and drone strikes on facilities in western Ukraine. The criminal was apprehended in the Rivne region during a special operation, reports the portal 'Glavkom'.
According to the investigation, the Russian agent Ilya Kudryavtsev recruited local residents, promising them easy money. After recruitment, he received tasks to locate military facilities and gather intelligence for future attacks.
The SBU employees discovered the agent and detained him 'in the act' while monitoring the outer perimeter of a military facility.
The detained individual is currently suspected of treason and is in custody. The security services are also investigating other cases involving blackmail and threats to national security.
This event once again emphasizes the importance of intelligence services in preventing terrorist acts and ensuring Ukraine's national security.
