Another international film festival will show the movie 'Russians at War'. Reaction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed outrage over the plans of the Swiss Zurich Film Festival to show the film "Russians at War". In the statement, the Ministry condemns Russia's attempt to whitewash its war crimes through the cultural scene. The agency emphasized that there is no place for Russian propaganda on the international cultural stage.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that it will continue to work towards the isolation of Russia as an aggressor not only in the political but also in the cultural sphere.
Let's recall that protests took place under the walls of TIFF in Toronto against the screening of the movie "Russians at War". The Ukrainian and international community expressed their outrage. Previously, this film was screened at the Venice Film Festival.
