Every year, experts from World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants gather to determine the best burgers in the world, and this year's ranking has just been announced.
First place went to Hundred Burgers in Valencia, second place went to Bleecker Burger from London, and third place went to Black Bear Burger.
Interestingly, six of the twenty-five best burgers in the world are also located in the capital of Great Britain.
‘The best cheeseburger on earth’
Bleecker Burger was founded by American Zan Kaufman, who moved to London in 2012, turning an old van into a dining venue.
They opened their first permanent location at Old Spitalfields market in 2015.
Today, they have eight locations in London, including in Victoria, London Bridge, Soho, and Westfield.
This is not the first time they have won an award; last year they won a national burger competition.
According to the team at Best Steak Restaurants, their success lies in “focusing on the fundamentals.”

‘One of the best burgers’
Black Bear Burger took third place. They started small, selling their burgers at Broadway market every Saturday.
They opened their first permanent place in Boxpark, Shoreditch, and the first sit-down restaurant in December 2019 at Brixton market.
Like Bleecker, Black Bear has gained recognition for its achievements, winning a national award for the Miso Bacon Burger in 2025.
The Best Steak Restaurants team characterized Black Bear Burger as “a tribute to craft, flavor, and simplicity.”
