Russia is the main enemy of Britain: what the NATO commander said after tracking Putin's ships.
British commander's memories of cooperation with Russians
According to The Sun: The British fleet commander, who recently carried out a mission to track suspicious vessels of Vladimir Putin, recalled the times when British sailors had friendly relations with Russians. But Commander Craig Raeber, chief of staff of NATO's Permanent Maritime Group 1, warns that Russia has become Britain's biggest adversary.
“At that time we had healthy relations, but the situation has drastically changed,”he noted in a conversation with The Sun.
The commander emphasized that today the risks associated with Russian aggression have risen significantly, and Britain must be prepared for new challenges.
In the context of modern geopolitical challenges, Craig Raeber's comments reflect a change in relations between countries that affects security in the region. Cooperation that was once possible is now in question, and Britain needs to adapt to the new reality on the international stage.
