In the video, you can see how the bus stopped in the queue on the Maravatío-Atlacomulco road. Vehicles on both sides stopped at the railway tracks, but a motorcyclist managed to pass at the last moment.

The Herradura de Plata bus initially stopped but suddenly moved forward again, as if trying to let the train pass.

At the moment when the bus was on the tracks, the train hit it.

The bus was crushed, and its wreck was thrown several thousand meters away.

Rescue services that arrived at the scene found real chaos and destruction.

Photos from the scene show that the bus's roof was completely torn off, and the injured sought shelter outdoors.

Rescue teams from several regions and the Red Cross worked to extract survivors from the rubble.

Despite all efforts, ten people died, and 45 were injured.

The authorities have already launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, as the driver's decision to enter the tracks remains a mystery.

The Canadian railway company Canadian Pacific Kansas City confirmed the accident and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

Officials in the city of Atlacomulco urged residents to stay away from the site of the incident and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families affected by this tragedy.”

This tragedy shocked not only Mexico but also the international community. Less than a week before this disaster, another terrible road accident occurred when an overloaded tourist bus collided with another vehicle in Sri Lanka, resulting in the deaths of 15 people. These two incidents raise questions about passenger transport safety and the state of infrastructure in both countries and remind us of the need to adhere to traffic rules.
