Hungary accuses Ukraine of attacking the Druzhba oil pipeline: what is known.
Peter Szijjarto criticized Ukraine's attack on oil facilities in Russia
The Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto expressed his criticism regarding Ukraine's drone attack on an important distribution station of the 'Druzhba' oil pipeline in the Bryansk region. He noted that this pipeline supplies oil to Hungary and is of great importance for the country's energy security.
He announced this on his Facebook.
Szijjarto emphasized that in his opinion, the attack on an object that provides energy resources to his country is 'particularly regrettable'.
'Hungary today is the main supplier of electricity for Ukraine, and without us, Ukraine's energy security would become extremely unstable. I am particularly outraged by Ukraine's new attack on the Druzhba Pipeline, which supplies Hungary with oil, and therefore plays a key role in our energy security,'
noted Szijjarto.
The minister urged Ukraine not to jeopardize Hungary's energy supply and refrain from attacks on infrastructure that provides energy resources to the country, emphasizing that Budapest has nothing to do with the war.
Hungary and Ukraine are designated for each other a key role in energy issues, so it is important to resolve conflicts peacefully and avoid actions that may threaten the energy security of both countries.
