Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiga reported that Russia rejected the US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire and is only offering a 30-hour 'Easter truce'. Ukraine agreed to a 30-day ceasefire back in March. The minister emphasized that for 39 days Russia has rejected the proposal and intensifies terror against both Ukraine and civilian targets. Sybiga expressed doubts about the full credibility of Putin's statement on the truce, as he already has negative experience believing in the words of the Russian leader. The minister urged the international community to be vigilant and observe Russia's actions, as it is precisely because of Russia that this war began and continues. Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the launch of Russian strike drones 45 minutes before the announced 'Easter truce' indicates Putin's true attitude towards human life.
