Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga and Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak stated the possibility of ending the war in 2025 during the forum 'Ukraine. Year 2025' in Kyiv.
'We live with a fundamental goal - achieving a just, comprehensive peace for Ukraine. And we are convinced that this year, in the third year of brutal Russian aggression, we really have a chance,' emphasized Sybiga.
According to him, Ukraine's diplomatic service is fully mobilized to achieve a just peace. The minister urged to 'fasten diplomatic seatbelts' and not to succumb to emotions during this turbulent period.
Andriy Yermak emphasized that Ukraine will not compromise on territorial integrity. 'For Ukrainians, it is very important how this war ends, it is very important for Ukrainians what certain guarantees will ensure this cessation, as this is our future,' noted the head of the Office.
Yermak also highlighted the unprecedented representation of Ukraine on the international stage during three years of war. According to him, Ukraine is now seen as a serious reliable partner, although relations with partners are not always easy.
'Three years of war, three years of the full-scale aggression of Russia, which divided our lives into 'before' and 'after'. Long three years of our Ukrainian nation and unity,' Yermak emphasized, adding that the end of the war in Ukraine will determine the future not only of Europe but of the world.
