According to UATV: During a meeting at the 56th World Economic Forum in Davos on January 20, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha extended an invitation to the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berse, to visit Ukraine. The Council of Europe, distinct from the EU, is a key human rights organization on the continent. Their discussion centered on establishing a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine, alongside other mechanisms for holding Russia accountable.
Andrii Sybiha emphasized the urgent need to create the necessary legal framework, which is expected to become operational in 2026. The Minister stressed the importance of this process, stating:
