The Special Operations Forces commented on the statements regarding the seizure of a village in Sumy region.
On the official channel of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine, it was reported that there was a recent attempt by a sabotage and reconnaissance group to cross the Ukrainian border in the Sumy region. The operators of the Special Operations Forces detected their route and eliminated part of the saboteurs. The enemy military tried to flee to Russian territory, but they were caught and destroyed.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reports that the information about the crossing of the border by Russian troops in the village of Oleksandriya is false. According to the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, this area is swampy and it is difficult to hold positions for defense there.
In addition, the Security Service of Ukraine carried out a special operation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region. Using drones, ammunition and mortar storage sites near the village of Markine, where large stocks of ammunition were located, were attacked.
