Ukrainian Special Operations Forces destroy oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai: details of the attack.
According to inkorr.com: The special operations forces of Ukraine, together with Russian partisans, struck the Ilysky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai. This was reported by the portal 'Glavkom', citing information from the SSO of Ukraine.
'On the night of September 7, the special operations forces, together with the resistance group 'Black Spark' in Krasnodar Krai, carried out actions at the oil refinery - Ilysky refinery named after A.A. Shamaran', the report states.
With the combined efforts of special operations agencies and Russian partisans, it was possible to destroy the processing unit ELOU-AT-6, which is critically important for the operation of the refinery, as it is responsible for the primary processing of oil necessary for the production of gasoline and diesel fuel.
Consequences of the attack
This operation led to the shutdown of the oil refinery, and it will not be able to resume its activities without significant repairs to the unit. Preliminary reports also indicated a fire at the plant following the drone attack that same day.
In addition, residents of the Ryazan region recently complained about a series of explosions, particularly in the area of the local refinery, which became a target for drone attacks.
The attack on the Ilysky oil refinery resulted in the destruction of an important unit, paralyzing the operation of the enterprise and requiring repairs to the equipment. These events highlight the escalation of the situation in southern Russia and the activity of partisan groups within the country.
