Force Mobilization and Bussification: A Lawyer Explained When TCC Actions Violate the Rights of Ukrainians.
Tetyana Kozyan, a lawyer, explained to Ukrainians in which cases the actions of Territorial Centers of Recruitment (TCC) may exceed their authority. The legislation sets the framework for the activities of TCC employees, who cannot carry out unauthorized checks or force citizens entitled to deferment to undergo mobilization. They also cannot violate the established order of medical examination of those liable for military service or forcibly deliver them to TCC without a court decision.
Exceeding the official powers of TCC employees includes actions such as unauthorized inspections, unlawful entry into the dwelling of a liable person, and coercion into mobilization of individuals who are legally entitled to deferment.
It should be noted that some Ukrainians will lose their right to deferment from mobilization.
