According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, the defense forces of Ukraine have regained over 50% of the territory occupied by the Russians since February 24, 2022, and have carried out effective defensive and offensive operations.

The world did not believe that Ukraine would stand firm, but the Ukrainian people are valiantly withstanding the enemy's attacks. We defeated the Russian offensive group, pushed the invaders away from Kyiv, liberated northern Ukraine, Kharkiv region, and Kherson.

Syrskyi also noted that the main capability of the Defense Forces is to operate asymmetrically.

The Kursk operation is a confirmation of this. It prevented an enemy offensive in Sumy and Kharkiv regions. For the first Time in 11 years, we have moved large-scale combat operations to the territory of the enemy and continue to hold hundreds of square kilometers of Kursk.

In addition, over three years, the enemy has lost nearly 870 thousand soldiers and officers, more than 10.1 thousand tanks, 21.1 thousand armored fighting vehicles, and 23.3 thousand artillery systems.

By their skills and resilience, our warriors restrain the enemy, who outnumbers us in numbers and resources. I am proud of each and every one who defends our state! It is an honor for me to be the Commander-in-Chief of such warriors in this time.

President Volodymyr Zelensky marked the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine and thanked Ukrainians for their resilience, courage, and heroism in defending the country from the Russian aggressor.

The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, also arrived in Kyiv to mark the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

It should be reminded that Russian drones attacked Kyiv region, and debris from the enemy's drone hit an unfinished high-rise building in the Brovary district.
