The Russian army has lost over 90 thousand personnel since the beginning of the year
Since the beginning of the year, the Russian Armed Forces have lost over 90 thousand personnel. This was reported by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskiy. He also added that the occupying troops suffer heavy losses every day.
Since the beginning of the year, the losses of the Russian army in personnel amount to about 91 thousand
ISW analysts claim that the significant losses of Russia in this war are a result of Vladimir Putin's determination to capture all of Ukraine. Russian troops are conducting attacks on the front, led by infantry, which often results in heavy losses but does not bring significant territorial gains.
It is also known that the Russian army is focusing on increasing the quantity and improving the effectiveness of drones and missiles to break through Ukrainian air defense.
Commander of the 'Madyar Birds' Company, Robert Brovdiy, reported that Russia sends 30-35 thousand recruits to the front every month, while Ukrainian defenders manage to reduce the enemy's personnel strength by 30 thousand in the same period.
