In the Novopavlivka direction, the situation is worsening as Russian forces attempt to break through to the borders of three Ukrainian regions - Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn. He noted that fierce battles are ongoing in this direction, and the enemy aims to reach the borders of three regions. The situation is also tense in the Orekhiv direction near Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkovy, and Stepove. Here, the enemy is trying to break through and capture a foothold near Zaporizhzhia, from where it could fire and influence the logistics routes of the city and its suburbs. Occupiers have also intensified strikes in the Kherson direction, where they are trying to capture islands on the Dnipro River. Moreover, the spokesperson reported double strikes on Kherson, where residential buildings are bombed first, followed by attacks on rescuers arriving at the scene. The situation is serious and requires immediate measures to protect the territory.
