How much time does the average youth spend on their phone: the statistics are shocking.
People spend a lot of time on their phones; the analysis showed that this has become one of the main occupations. According to the study, the average person spends nearly 6 hours a day on their phone, which is already reflected in their social life. Younger generations spend even more time online, with over 10% of their day spent in front of their smartphone screen.
Screen addiction has its consequences. Most adults already feel depressed due to the constant need to stay updated on all social media news, and half the time they believe that their social energy is spent on online conversations.
The study also showed that people are spending more and more time on their phones, while the time they spend on independent communication in the real world has decreased by a third. According to the report, this has become possible due to the emergence of social networks that attract more and more users.
The percentage of people spending time with friends in real life is getting smaller. Instead, they postpone meetings and prefer digital communication. This leads to feelings of loneliness in many people, but when they meet friends in real life, they feel better. In such moments, they try to spend less time on their phones.
Researchers have also found that members of Generation Z are giving up renting and prefer staying in hotels, which gives them more comfort and advantages.
