Most Poles Against Sending Troops to Ukraine: Survey Results.
According to ТСН: Only 22% of Polish citizens support sending their troops to Ukraine.
This data has become known from a survey conducted by SW Research on behalf of the Polish publication Rzeczpospolita.
“If the security of post-war Ukraine were guaranteed by the presence of European troops there, in your opinion, should Poland send troops to Ukraine?”
Survey Results
59.8% of Poles are against sending Polish troops.
17.9% of respondents are undecided on this issue.
Only 22.3% of those surveyed support sending Polish peacekeepers to Ukraine.
The strongest opposition to Poland's participation in a peacekeeping mission comes from the youth: 64% of Poles aged 25-34 have a negative attitude towards sending soldiers to Ukraine, likely fearing that they may be assigned military duties.
Recently, Poland expressed its outrage over being excluded from peace negotiations.
Thus, the survey results indicate a significant threat of Poland's unwillingness to participate in military operations, even if it concerns peacekeeping missions. These sentiments among the population may influence political decisions in relations with Ukraine and Poland's role in international conflicts.
