The explosions were heard around 02:45 at night, and the sound spread to the towns of Novoshakhtinsk, Aksay, and the western part of Rostov.

The fire at a Russian oil depot near the town of Proletarsk in the Rostov region has been ongoing for ten days straight after a drone attack on August 18. According to the General Staff, this base stored fuel and petroleum products used by the occupying army.
