Shmyhal announced the expansion of the eSupport program: who will receive assistance.
The 'Winter eSupport' program is already operational
The 'Winter eSupport' program, launched by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, is being successfully implemented. Ukrainians are actively applying for financial assistance of one thousand hryvnias through the Diia mobile app, and the number of applications is increasing.
Under the program, the funds can be used until 2025 for various purposes, including purchasing medications, paying for utilities, medical, and educational services. Citizens will also have the opportunity to donate money to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Last week, Ukrposhta clients joined the 'Winter eSupport' program and can now use the funds received for the operator's services and products. A new phase of the program has started today, with partner banks joining.
For prominent individuals who do not use the mobile app, as well as guardians of underage children, a new option for receiving assistance is provided. It is enough to contact the bank, submit an application, and the financial institution will open a special account for receiving state assistance.
It is worth noting that the Cabinet of Ministers also announced monetary payments for families with children.
