Tax increases in Ukraine will come into force on December 1 - Shmyhal
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal stated that the tax increases and the state budget for 2025 will come into force on December 1. The Cabinet of Ministers has requested President Volodymyr Zelensky to quickly sign the relevant laws, and both bills will be signed in the coming days.
It is expected that the tax increase law will come into force on December 1. There are no plans to make the law retroactive. - Shmyhal stated
Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko is also confident that the president will soon sign the tax increase law, which provides for an increase in military tax from 1.5% to 5%.
Earlier it was reported that from the beginning of next year, citizens of Ukraine will have to pay for real estate.
