Elon Musk will pay $10 million due to Trump's account blocking

Billionaire Elon Musk has decided to pay over $10 million to settle a lawsuit filed by former US President Donald Trump over the blocking of his account in 2021, reports The Wall Street Journal.

Trump, along with other plaintiffs, sued Twitter and its CEO Jack Dorsey.

According to sources, Trump's team considered the option to halt the lawsuit, citing that Musk had supported the president during the elections and spent a significant amount on his campaign. Ultimately, the parties reached a settlement.

This occurred after Meta settled a similar lawsuit with Trump for $25 million on January 30, without admitting any wrongdoing. This settlement was made following Trump's victory in the 2024 elections and Mark Zuckerberg's attempts to improve relations with him.

Zuckerberg donated $1 million for the inauguration of the new president and was present at the ceremony alongside Cabinet members. He also relaxed content moderation rules on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads and refused to collaborate with external fact-checkers.

Trump filed a lawsuit against Meta after his account was suspended due to events at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Elon Musk has dedicated himself to leading the US administration's efficiency control department

Billionaire Elon Musk has fully dedicated himself to working as the head of the US Efficiency Control Department (Doge), reports Fox Business. He even sleeps at the White House.

"Musk told his team that he plans to spend four months as the head of Doge," journalists reported. According to them, Musk has completely immersed himself in the work, not returning home and sleeping at the US administration.
