In 2025, Ukrainian low-income families can expect social support from the state, which is provided according to certain criteria. The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained how this process works. The government has approved resolution No. 250, which provides for financial assistance for families with low income levels, helping to support them in difficult life circumstances. To receive this assistance, the family must meet certain requirements, namely, having incomes not exceeding the subsistence minimum. The necessary documents for receiving social assistance are submitted by authorized representatives of families that meet the program conditions. The amount of assistance is calculated individually for each family, and the application process can be conducted online or in person through relevant services or government agencies. In return, certain categories of citizens in 2025 will receive other types of social benefits, such as one-time financial assistance for Independence Day or payments instead of pensions for the elderly.
