Magnetic Activity Forecast and Weather Outlook for Ukraine

According to Novyny.live: No major disruptions to Earth's magnetosphere are expected on June 22, 2026. Solar activity is forecast to drop to a minimum, but a radiation storm remains possible following a recorded M2.6-class solar flare. Over the past day, nine energy ejections were observed, including three B-class and four C-class flares.

According to the magnetic storm forecast from June 22 to 25, the geomagnetic field is expected to remain calm. This means no significant magnetic storms are anticipated during this period. Across Ukraine, partly cloudy skies and brief rain showers are predicted for these dates, which could affect local weather conditions in various regions of the country.

Record Heat in Western Europe

Meanwhile, temperatures in Western Europe have soared to +45 °C, signaling extreme weather anomalies. Despite this, forecasts for Ukraine do not indicate any major temperature swings. In the coming days, Ukrainians can therefore expect a stable geomagnetic environment, along with weather changes tied to the decline in solar activity.

The reduction in solar activity may help stabilize the geomagnetic field, thereby lowering risks to technological systems and human health—especially for those sensitive to magnetic storms. The extreme heat in Western Europe serves as a reminder of global climate shifts, which could have far-reaching effects on weather patterns worldwide, including in Ukraine.
