According to Novyny.live: Law enforcement officials have documented a scheme involving the forgery of medical certificates, which were used to help individuals eligible for military service evade mobilization. This crackdown, known as Operation 'Guardian', involved 128 searches across 20 regions of Ukraine, resulting in 110 individuals—both military personnel and civilians—being formally notified of suspicion for their alleged roles.
Authorities recorded dozens of instances where falsified medical documents were used to illegally avoid military duty. A significant amount of material evidence was seized during the raids, including:

- mobile phones
- computer equipment
- medical stamps
- medical documentation
- handwritten notes
Those involved in the case face potential prison sentences of up to ten years. They are suspected of committing crimes under various articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, specifically:
- Part 2 and Part 3 of Article 332 (illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine)
- Part 5 of Article 407 (unauthorized abandonment of a military unit or place of service)
- Part 4 of Article 409 (evasion of military service through self-mutilation or other means)
