According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Federation has lost 41 military aircraft, including strategic bombers, as a result of the SBU's special operation called 'Web' on June 1. “Updated statistics on the damage to enemy aviation at military airfields of the Russian Federation as a result of the special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine on June 1, 2025. After processing additional information from various sources and its verification, which took some time, we inform you that the total losses of the occupiers amounted to 41 military aircraft, among which are strategic bombers and other types of combat air vessels,” the statement noted.

The 'Web' operation resulted in losses amounting to over $7 billion and the defeat of 34% of the strategic carriers of cruise missiles in Russia. The U.S. Secretary of Defense supported the special operation, calling it a response to Russia's attacks on civilian infrastructure and the civilian population.
