The application 'Reserve+' has introduced notifications about paper summons: what does it mean.
According to ТСН: A new feature has started in Ukraine in the 'Reserve+' application, which allows users to receive notifications about the arrival of summons. Now, those liable for military service will receive messages that the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRS) has sent a paper summons by mail.
Notifications about summons in 'Reserve+': how it works
The 'Reserve+' application has introduced the ability to receive push notifications about various events related to military registration. Users will receive information about:
submission or removal from the wanted list;
violations of military registration rules and penalties;
updates to Reserve ID;
changes or receipt of personal data;
granting deferment or reservation;
receiving an electronic referral for the military medical commission (MMC).
Recently, an option for notification about the sending of a paper summons by mail has been added to this list. Users can activate notifications about the fact that the TRS has sent a registered letter.
This innovation allows those liable for military service to learn in advance about the sending of the document, monitor their status, and prepare to receive the letter via 'Ukrposhta'.
What to know about notifications in 'Reserve+'
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that notifications in the application are not a summons and have no legal force. They are just informational notifications.
Users should take the following points into account:
receiving or reading a notification in 'Reserve+' is not considered official delivery of the summons;
the only legally significant document remains the paper document, issued according to current legislation;
the function is voluntary — users can independently activate or deactivate notifications in the application settings;
the notification specifies the date and time when they must appear at the TRS;
the procedure for sending summons has not changed: they are still printed on paper and delivered by mail.
Thus, the new functionality does not replace official notification but only complements it, providing additional information for those liable for military service.
What will change next
The Ministry of Defense confirms that in the near future it plans to expand the functionality of the 'Reserve+' application. Users will receive push notifications about:
enrollment in military registration;
deregistration;
exclusion from military registration;
cancellation of deferment.
This will allow those liable for military service to receive information about changes in their status more quickly and avoid misunderstandings during interactions with the TRS.
The introduction of the new function in the 'Reserve+' application is an important step in simplifying communication between those liable for military service and military structures. Thanks to new opportunities, users will be more informed about their status and respond promptly to changes, which, in turn, can reduce tension and misunderstandings in communication with the TRS.
