The offender, who offered help in resolving the issue of military service enlistment, became a subject of the case. He was notified of suspicion and faces up to 8 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. This was reported by the police.

The 22-year-old criminal offered assistance for $2,500 to avoid military conscription. He promised to obtain a temporary certificate of military obligation with a note about unfitness for service and to influence relevant persons in one of the local military registration and enlistment work centers and draft boards.

The unfortunate "client" also asked for help for his acquaintance. Later, the head of a public organization called him and demanded money twice as much. If refused, he threatened to assist in his quick mobilization.

The police detained the offender with practical receipt of illegal benefit in the amount of $5,000. In addition, they seized almost 104,000 hryvnias, stamps of the military registration work center, empty military obligation certificates, and a smartphone with important information.

Based on conclusive evidence, the offender was notified of suspicion for abuse of influence. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention with the possibility of bail of 757,000 hryvnias.

Efforts are being made to identify individuals who might have used the offender's services and his potential accomplices.

Recall that before the start of the medical and social examinations reform, "Glavkom" researched the wealth of the heads of regional medical and social examination centers. According to the investigation, 18 out of 25 leaders are millionaires. The richest among them is Tatiana Krupa, the head of the Khmelnytsky regional center of medical-social expertise. She received over 661,000 hryvnias in salary and 166,000 hryvnias in pension. She also has other sources of income totaling 1.15 million hryvnias. She kept 678,000 hryvnias, 15,500 dollars, and 32,500 euros in banks, as well as 15.2 million hryvnias and 160,000 dollars in cash.

According to the Security Service, 64 employees of the medical-social examination centers, as well as more than 4,000 disability verdicts, were suspects in committing crimes.

At the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine meeting, a law was already adopted to improve the procedures for conducting medical-social examinations.
