It has become known what the alternative to Starlink in Ukraine may be.

The French satellite operator Eutelsat is in talks with European governments about providing satellite communication in Ukraine instead of Starlink, according to the publication 'Glavkom' citing the Financial Times.
According to the publication, the talks began due to the possible cessation of Ukraine's access to Starlink communication, so Eutelsat could potentially be an alternative.
Eutelsat, which owns the OneWeb system, stated that it has equipment that can be quickly deployed in Ukraine to ensure communication for critical missions and infrastructure.
The company also reported that its negotiations with European governments concern the use of a combination of OneWeb satellite groups at various altitudes and Geo satellites at an altitude of 35,000 kilometers to improve communication in Ukraine and the Black Sea region. Both types of satellites can provide communication for Ukrainian drones.
The timelines for deploying additional terminals for critical missions and infrastructure will be determined based on the decisions of European countries regarding procurement and infrastructure coordination, Eutelsat reported.
Earlier, Reuters reported, citing its sources, that the American side raised the issue of limiting Ukraine's access to Elon Musk's Starlink communication system. The company itself stated that it is fully committed to providing services to Ukraine.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov also stated that Ukraine would find an alternative if access to Starlink is restricted.
