The airport in Lviv is planned to open in April-May of the current year. This was reported by the CEO Tetiana Romanovska. According to the optimistic scenario, Lviv international airport named after King Danylo of Halych will be ready to accept aviation flights. The opening of the airport in Uzhhorod in western Ukraine is also planned. Romanovska noted that several airlines have already expressed their readiness to operate in Lviv. Travel agencies and operators are also planning to transfer their routes from the European Union to Lviv if the airport resumes operations.
According to 'Vysokyi Zamok', Lviv airport is planned to open in April-May 2021 according to the optimistic scenario. The airport director Tetiana Romanovska noted that this will create conditions for aviation flights. In addition to this, the opening of the airport in Uzhhorod in western Ukraine is being considered. According to Romanovska, several airlines have already shown their readiness to operate in Lviv. Additionally, travel agencies and operators are planning to organize tours with departures from Lviv as it will be more convenient and economical.
