Child victims of Russian aggression honored in Ukraine

Ukrainian children have suffered greatly from Russian aggression. According to Yana Tomilina from the Department of Child Rights Protection of the Office of the Attorney General of Ukraine, out of 2602 affected children, 631 died, including about 30 young Ukrainians who did not even manage to celebrate their first birthday.

In addition to the tragedy, these innocent children, who became victims of war, have their day of remembrance. This anniversary reminds us of the terrible consequences of Russian aggression for the children who should have grown up and enjoyed life.

Every year on this day we honor the memory of the children killed due to Russian aggression. Every murdered child is an injustice that has no justification

The ceremonies on the occasion of International Day of Innocent Children – Victims of Aggression united in grief the president, the first lady, and all Ukrainians who feel great loss because of this tragedy.
