During his visit to Kyiv, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham expressed his support for a bill regarding new sanctions against Russia. He emphasized that Trump's inaction will no longer be tolerated, and the Senate will respond quickly. This bill aims to tighten sanctions against Russia, in particular, to impose a 500% tariff on imports of Russian oil products and uranium. President Trump, for his part, refused to answer questions about Putin's interest in peace, promising to do so in two weeks. He had previously shown hesitation regarding support for sanctions, but this willingness has changed due to circumstances. We hope that the new law will benefit Ukraine and help punish Russia. During Senator Graham's visit to Kyiv, support for new sanctions against Russia was demonstrated, which are intended to increase pressure on the country. Trump's position on this issue remains ambiguous, but senators are expressing confidence in short-term actions.
