According to ТСН: U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance commented on the shooting that occurred near the White House.
According to him, law enforcement has not yet identified the shooter's motives, as reported by the White House.
“A few hours ago, a shooting occurred near the White House, and we are still uncovering all the details. We still do not know the motives. A lot remains unclear,” said Jay D. Vance.
Federal agencies, along with local police, are working at the scene, analyzing all available data, surveillance camera footage, and eyewitness testimonies. Additional information is promised to be released after the initial phase of the investigation is completed.
It is recalled that as a result of the shooting near the White House, two National Guard servicemen were fatally wounded.
According to media reports, several individuals were also injured during the incident.
Later it became known that the guards died from their injuries.
