Ukraine's Household Gas Prices to Remain Fixed from March 2026.
Ukraine's Gas Tariffs from March 2026
According to Novyny.live: Household gas prices in Ukraine will not change starting March 1, 2026. The average price per cubic meter will be set at 7.96 Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH) and will remain in effect at least until April 30, 2026. This price stability comes as many households in Ukraine face broader economic pressures. A key detail for consumers is that they receive two separate gas bills each month: the first payment is due by the 25th, and the second by the 20th of the following month.
The state-owned company Naftogaz supplies 98% of all residential consumers, underscoring its dominant position in the market. For a typical three-person household, the established social consumption norm is 9.9 cubic meters. Consuming this amount would result in a bill of 78.8 UAH. If consumption rises to 16.2 cubic meters, the payment increases to 128.95 UAH. At a maximum consumption of 31.5 cubic meters, the total bill would reach 250.74 UAH.
Planning Your Gas Expenses
Additionally, the gas distribution fee for March will also remain unchanged. Therefore, Ukrainian households can reliably budget for their gas expenses, factoring in both the stable tariffs and how the final cost depends directly on the volume used.
Maintaining these gas tariffs is a significant factor for consumers amid wider economic uncertainty. The absence of price changes allows Ukrainian families to plan their finances with greater confidence. Adhering to the social consumption norm helps consumers manage their costs, which is especially relevant during periods when prices for other goods and services are rising.
