Tragic incident in Laos
A father and son became victims of an attack by a swarm of wild Asian hornets while on vacation in Laos. 47-year-old Daniel Owen and his 15-year-old son Cooper died after receiving over a hundred stings. The tragedy occurred during a zipline ride at an adventure resort when they were attacked by giant hornets.“It happened very quickly, and they didn’t have time to react,”witnesses recalled. Family and friends were left shocked by this tragedy and expressed their sincere condolences. The loss of Daniel and Cooper highlights the risks that tourists may face in tropical countries. This tragedy will certainly remind us of the importance of caution while being in nature, especially in areas where aggressive species of insects reside.
