Answer options

  1. Allowed.
  2. Prohibited.

Task analysis

According to paragraph 14.6 of the traffic regulations, overtaking is prohibited at railway crossings and within 100 meters before them.

However, in the depicted situation, the drivers are on a one-way street, as indicated by the sign 5.5 'One-way road'. Therefore, the oncoming lane is absent, just like the possibility of overtaking.

We read paragraph 1.10 of the traffic regulations:

'Overtaking is the act of passing one or several vehicles, which involves entering the oncoming traffic lane.'

The driver simply needs to change into the left lane and continue moving forward.
