The Hilton Metropole is right on the edge of the NEC in Birmingham and the new Resorts World complex, so there is plenty to enjoy both inside and outside the hotel. However, it creates a sense of seclusion, a haven hidden in the heart of the Midlands with a large lake surrounding it. Its ideal location, easily accessible from the M4 motorway and just a 12-minute walk from Birmingham International Railway Station, makes traveling very easy, whether for a simple visit to nearby attractions or for exploring the Midlands.
This expansive hotel features 795 rooms, a spa, conference rooms, a restaurant, and great bars. Hilton has revamped this hotel from the 1970s, giving it a shiny American charm from the 1920s. This new upgrade provides bright, airy rooms with neutral finishes, with the added bonus of large beds in the King rooms.
Special rates for rooms start from £103, and there are several packages that include breakfast and pool access. If you are staying in an executive room, you can access a special lounge with breakfast, complimentary pre-dinner drinks, and canapés for a special weekend. However, if you are a member, you may occasionally receive exclusive rates.
The Brightsmith on the Water restaurant and bar on-site offer a wide selection of dishes and incredible signature cocktails, as well as a lovely terrace for summer drinks. There are also two other restaurants on the hotel grounds, but if you're looking for simpler fare, we recommend taking a stroll to the restaurants at Resorts World.
Despite its location in the bustling city of Birmingham, you can relax at the PURE spa with its soothing treatments or keep fit at the LivingWell health club with a 24-hour fitness center, sauna, steam room, and swimming pool.
The hotel offers rooms for four people, as well as a Kidz Come First nanny service for guests with children. Accessibility for disabled guests is available, but for specific requirements regarding certain disabilities, please contact the hotel.
