Joyful atmosphere before school at Stonor Park

According to The Sun: There is still time for family fun before the school year starts at Stonor Park, which is offering a special discount on entry to the magical play area.

During the last month of summer, families can visit Tumblestone Hollow - a huge adventure playground with giant slides, wooden houses, and even zip lines.

Children have the opportunity to explore the high walkways and use the zip line.

Visits to Tumblestone Hollow have received numerous positive reviews from parents and children who happily run around on the walkways, explore the rope bridges, and play in the wooden houses.

Slides and zip lines are offered for descent.

The playground is inspired by enchanting stories of fairies, elves, and trolls.

“We had a wonderful time at the Tumblestone Hollow playground. It was great to see the little ones play in the water and sand,” wrote one visitor on Tripadvisor.

On the playground premises, there are plenty of cafes where you can try pizza, ice cream, milkshakes, hamburgers, and fries.

In cool weather, parents can warm up with hot chocolate, coffee, or tea – beer, cider, and wine are also available.

From now until September 2, 2025, interesting stories about Tumblestone Hollow will be held daily at 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00.

The playground operates seven days a week from 9:30 to 17:30.

Tumblestone Hollow is located within the grounds of Stonor Park in the Chiltern Hills of Oxfordshire. The grand estate, which has over 850 years of history, is owned by the Stonor family.

There are numerous rooms open for viewing, including a chapel, a Gothic-style hall, and a library.

There are also various gardens, including an Italian garden.

The gardens attract visitors with their diversity, from Renaissance ponds to well-kept flower beds, and a Japanese hideaway among the plants.

The old vegetable garden, typical of England, is filled with apple and plum trees and various roses.

Tickets for house, chapel, and garden tours range from £7 to £13 when purchased online.

The Stonor House side is open every Sunday throughout September from 13:30 to 17:00.
