Ryanair cancels printing boarding passes: what has changed for passengers.
New Ryanair Registration Rules
According to The Sun: The new registration system for Ryanair passengers is already in operation. From today (November 12), the budget airline no longer allows passengers to check in and print boarding passes at the airport. Now, to obtain a mobile boarding pass, passengers must download the Ryanair app.
The airport explains:
The changes in registration are aimed at simplifying the process and reducing queues at terminals. Now passengers can prepare for their flight in advance using their smartphones. The Ryanair app not only allows for check-in but also provides up-to-date information regarding flights.
These innovations may help to improve passenger service and optimize airport operations, as all stages of registration can be completed remotely. The airport hopes that the changes will help reduce waiting times for check-in and boarding.
