Increase in Passenger Traffic at Exeter Airport
According to The Sun: One of the regional airports in southern England has recorded a significant increase in the number of passengers over the past year. Thanks to a new TUI aircraft and the launch of KLM flights to Amsterdam, the summer of 2025 brought thousands of new travelers to Exeter Airport.
The airport reported that over 450,000 passengers passed through its terminals.
“This is a huge step forward for our region, providing even more travel opportunities,”- airport representatives noted.
This increase in passenger traffic indicates a recovery of tourism activities in the region, positively impacting the local economy. With new flights and increased travel accessibility, Exeter Airport hopes to attract even more travelers in the future.
