In honor of the 100th anniversary of the famous Route 66, which runs through St. Louis, ticket prices for the new flight start from £529 round trip.

Flight Schedule

From April 19, there will be four flights a week: on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, departing at 16:45 and returning at 22:00.

Neil Chernoff, Director of Planning and Strategy for British Airways, emphasized: “St. Louis is a fantastic addition to our network in the U.S. – a city with a rich history and vibrant cultural scene, as well as a gateway to exciting destinations.”

St. Louis, named after the French king, was once considered the 'Rome of the West' due to a large Catholic diocese and numerous layers of population.

The city is also known as the 'Gateway to the West' as it is an important link between Ohio and the Mississippi.

Among the main attractions is the Budweiser brewery, a favorite beer brand in the United Kingdom.

Interesting Places for Tourists

Tourists can visit the Anheuser-Busch brewery for tours and learn how to taste beer. There is also mini-golf, a bar, and a beer garden.

Additionally, the luxurious St. Louis Union Station hotel is located in the historic train station that opened back in 1894.

Other attractions include the Gateway Arch National Park and Busch Stadium, where baseball games are held.

Forest Park, which is larger than Central Park in New York, also deserves attention. It houses museums of art, history, and science.

For those looking for budget options, St. Louis has Quality Inns and Days Inn hotels with prices under £50 per night.

St. Louis has become the 27th city in British Airways' route network, which continues to expand.

Next summer, an increase in flights to Las Vegas, Miami, New York, San Diego, and Austin is expected.

Also, Alaska Airlines will launch its first non-stop flight from London Heathrow to Seattle next year.

However, several budget flights from the UK to the US have recently been canceled: Norse canceled flights from London to Miami, while PLAY went bankrupt, resulting in the cancellation of all its flights.
