According to Novyny.live: On March 31, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas traveled to Bucha to honor victims of the Russian occupation on the anniversary of the town’s liberation. The visit underscored ongoing European solidarity with Ukraine during a period of heightened challenges.
During the ceremony, the EU officials lit candles at the memorial for those killed under Russian occupation. Sybiha noted that the presence of top EU diplomats on the anniversary of the region’s liberation sends a powerful message of genuine unity and the inevitability of accountability for the aggressor.
Kyrylo Budanov also paid tribute to the victims in Bucha. Kaja Kallas stressed the need to keep Ukraine in the global spotlight, stating:
