Tragedy at the water body in Vinnytsia region

A sad event occurred at a water body in the city of Bershad in the Vinnytsia region: a 28-year-old man died while swimming across a river. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

Rescuers received information that the man had gone missing while crossing the river. He was relaxing with relatives and decided to swim across the Dohnu. After some time, he was no longer visible on the surface. Rescuers began the search, but to no avail.

The body of the deceased was found by the State Emergency Service divers after 14:00 at a depth of more than two meters after a detailed examination of the bottom of the water body.

Recently, other tragic events occurred at water bodies in Ukraine, which once again underlines the importance of following safety rules while relaxing by the water.
