US President Donald Trump assured that Ukraine will receive Patriot surface-to-air missile systems from the USA. At a press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, he noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 17 such systems. 'They won't need all of them, but many will be used at the front,' Trump said.
What is known about the delivery of Patriots to Ukraine
According to the president, weapon deliveries from third countries will happen 'very soon — actually, within a few days.' He also noted that he expects the passage of a sanctions bill against Russia that will allow him to act freely. The US Congress is ready to enact this law and is waiting for a signal from Trump.
