The President of the USA, Trump, plans to dismiss Zelensky
According to 'Wave', President Donald Trump intends to get rid of the leader of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. Western media report that Trump is trying to put pressure on Zelensky to have him removed. He is considering the possibility of halting the supply of American weapons to Ukraine while Zelensky is in power.
According to Politico, the US government has already met with the Ukrainian opposition to discuss possible candidates for the presidency after Zelensky. Among the main candidates are mentioned Yulia Tymoshenko, Petro Poroshenko, and Valeriy Zaluzhny.
As former CIA director John Brennan stated, Trump's actions are 'pressure and blackmail'.
According to political scientist Thomas Yeager, Trump may seek revenge on Zelensky for the refusal to provide compromising material on Hunter Biden in 2020. Yeager also believes that holding elections in Ukraine in the near future would be an 'ideal outcome for Vladimir Putin.'
Earlier, there were reports about the expected US position regarding Ukraine at talks in Saudi Arabia.
