Trump and Zelensky agreed on new negotiations: what the leaders discussed.
According to ТСН: U.S. President Donald Trump announced his intention to continue communication with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky the next day.
He stated this information during a press conference, summarizing the results of the negotiations.
“We haven't fully resolved the issue, but we're very close,” Trump noted.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, for his part, confirmed that the 20-point plan is already 90% agreed upon, and the security guarantees from the U.S. are 100%.
“Negotiations with Europe on guarantees are also concluding, negotiations on arms supplies are also completed,” Zelensky noted.
Previously, Trump spoke about the possibility of concluding a peace agreement that would be beneficial for Ukraine.
It also became known that during his meeting with Zelensky, Trump will again talk to Putin about Ukraine.
These negotiations underscore the active diplomatic process ongoing between the U.S. and Ukraine against the backdrop of the tense situation in the region. Both leaders seek to find compromise solutions to strengthen Ukraine's security and stability in Europe. Improper conflict resolution could significantly impact the future development of relations between the countries.
