Trump denied fatigue allegations: what is known about his health.
According to ТСН: US President Donald Trump made a sharp statement, accusing The New York Times of misinformation regarding his health and signs of fatigue.
This political dispute arose after The New York Times published an article titled: 'Shorter Days, Signs of Fatigue: Trump Faces the Realities of Aging in Office.' The article discussed how the US president had recently sounded hoarse during speeches, and his work schedule has significantly simplified compared to his first term.
Trump's Response
In response, Trump called the publication 'the enemy of the people' and accused journalist Katie Rogers of conducting a deliberate negative campaign against him.
As rumors about his health state raised concerns, Trump emphasized that he had recently undergone 'perfect' medical and cognitive tests, the results of which, according to him, confirm the absence of any problems.
'There will come a day when I run out of energy, that happens to everyone, but with the perfect examinations recently completed, that is certainly not the case!'
Thus, Trump concluded that all mentions of fatigue are part of a targeted negative campaign against him. He also stressed that his ratings are reportedly the highest in history, which indicates strong support ahead of the elections.
Let us remind you that in April, the White House published Trump's medical examination results. The doctor reported that he is 'fully fit' to perform his duties as commander-in-chief, successfully passing the cognitive test, and the results of depression/anxiety screening and cholesterol levels were normal.
The health of politicians always attracts significant interest, especially during elections. Trump's statements about his mental and physical well-being become crucial for shaping his image and supporting his electoral ambitions. Ahead of the elections, this issue may become even more relevant if new publications and assessments of his condition emerge.
