According to The Sun: Travelodge is preparing to open two new hotels in the UK, where an overnight stay will cost less than £30.

The first hotel is already welcoming guests, and together both will offer 125 rooms. Here’s where you can find them.

Hotel in Burton-on-Trent

The first hotel is located in the very center of Burton-on-Trent, providing convenient access for visitors, as there is a railway station nearby.

The hotel offers 68 rooms, as well as the 85 Bar café, where guests can enjoy drinks and relax.

The cost of a standard room starts from £29.99 per night with no refund option.

The room features a large bed, a comfortable duvet, and four pillows. There is also a bathroom, a TV with Freeview, and a tea and coffee making area.

The hotel has its own parking and is located near East Midlands Airport.

Nearby, visitors can explore popular attractions like Donington Park and Alton Towers. Just a 35-minute drive away is Drayton Manor, recently named the best theme park in the UK for value for money.

Throughout the year, the park hosts various promotions celebrating its 75th anniversary since opening — and this is likely only the beginning!

At the end of the year, the park will reinstate its pricing system for attractions, which was in place in the 1950s.

Hotel in Glasgow

The second new Travelodge hotel is located in Cumbernauld, which provides convenient access to Glasgow, Falkirk, and Stirling, as well as Glasgow Airport.

This hotel will have 57 rooms available for booking from October 20, 2025.

The distance to attractions such as Glasgow Cathedral, Celtic Park, and Ibrox Stadium is very short.

Both hotels previously operated under the Go2 brand, and another hotel is currently being built in Wales, becoming part of a large renovation project in Cardiff Bay.

The new hotel will be just a five-minute walk from Cardiff Bay train station and will feature 182 rooms and an 85 Bar Café restaurant.

A large arena with 16,500 seats is being built near the hotel, which will host performances by musicians, comedians, and sporting events.

The new arena aims to 'revitalize Cardiff Bay', and according to Wales Online, its construction is expected to cost £300 million.
