A new Travelodge hotel opens in Skegness, UK: what guests can expect.
According to The Sun: This summer, a new Travelodge Skegness hotel will open in the seaside town in the UK, becoming the first in this city. The hotel will feature 80 rooms on the sixth floor just steps away from the promenade. Each room will have a new design, as well as new pillows, duvets, and blackout blinds. Additionally, SuperRoom category rooms will include a fridge with free still water. Room booking prices start from £79.99.
Besides the hotel, there will be a Starbucks drive-thru café on the premises. Darren Burney, the managing director of the Burney group, expressed hope that this will contribute to the city's development and the creation of new jobs. Travelodge already has over 600 hotels in the UK, but further expansion is planned. Despite Skegness having a somewhat negative reputation, a mother who recently visited the city shared positive impressions of her trip.
The arrival of the new Travelodge hotel in Skegness may foster the growth of this seaside town and create new opportunities for entertainment and relaxation for tourists.
