Tribunal for Russia — Zelensky gives new assignment to the Foreign Minister.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has set a new task for Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha. The head of state instructed the Foreign Minister to prepare an action plan for the tribunal over Russia.
Zelensky tasked Sybiha with preparing a tribunal for the RF
The president wrote about this in his Telegram on July 21.
“There is work on documenting and investigating Russian war crimes, there is our work at the level of the International Criminal Court, there is our new agreement to establish a Special Tribunal for Russia's aggression against Ukraine. More clarity is needed, and specific deadlines are required, particularly regarding the establishment of the tribunal. I instruct Andrii Sybiha, the minister, to prepare a real list of steps — what needs to be done and when the tribunal's launch is possible,” wrote the president.
Previously, Volodymyr Zelensky called on diplomats to seek new ways to assist Ukraine and outlined the main priorities for Ukrainian diplomacy.
In addition, the President of Ukraine assigned an important task to the new Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal and the new Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov regarding the audit of defense agreements with partners.
